These cables are designed for control and instrumentation applications on ships. They are unscreened, armoured for mechanical protection, and rated for 150/250V (300V). They meet relevant IEC standards for safety and performance.

• Conductor: Bare (optional tinned copper) class 5 according to IEC 60228
• Insulation: HF XLPE compound according to IEC 60092-360. Thickness according to IEC 60092-376
• Core Identification: Black with numbers 1, 2, 3, … with or without green/yellow
• Assembly: All cores or unit assembled in round formation with suitable fillers and non-hygroscopic tape(s)
• Armouring: Bare copper braid (upon request tinned copper or galvanized steel wire braid). Minimum coverage 90%
• Outer Sheath: SHF1 compound according to IEC 60092-360. Thickness according to IEC 60092-376. Colour: grey (or other colour agreed). Outer diameter according to IEC 60092-350 annex D
• Marking: UNIKA (Italy) – SH-CI-U-A 150/250V 90°C (n° cores) x (n° units) x (cross-section) – IEC 60092-376 – IEC 60332-3-22 – traceability code
• Rated Conductor Temperature (fixed installation): 90°C
• Minimum Installation Temperature: -15 °C
• Minimum Bending Radius: 6D: D is the overall diameter
