The LAPP Infraflex Braided Earth Safety Cable is a robust and reliable power cable designed for applications requiring enhanced safety and earth protection. It features four color-coded cores (Red, White, Blue, Black) and a tinned copper braid screen surrounding the cable's exterior. This braid acts as a protective earth, ensuring that in the event of damage, the earth is contacted first, creating a short circuit and protecting personnel from electrical shock. This safety cable is built to meet stringent Australian and New Zealand standards. • Conductor Circular strands of plain annealed copper acc. to AS/NZS 1125, Class 5
• Core Insulation Extruded PVC compound V-90 acc. to AS/NZS 3808. Insulation thickness complies with AS/NZS 5000.1
• Core Colour Red, White, Blue, Black In acc. to AS/NZS 5000.1
• Assembly of Cores Lay-up of cores, shall be laid up in helical ‘SZ’ configuration. Fillers may be used to achieve a round cable.
• Inner Sheath PVC compound 5V-90 acc. to AS/NZS 3808, Orange RAL 2003
• Screen Tinned copper wire braiding (TCWB), min. 80% coverage
• Outer Sheath PVC compound 5V-90 acc. to AS/NZS 3808 with UV resistant
