New Larger XLPE Sizes Added to the LAPP POWER NS Neutral Screen Range - Available Now.
ROBUST, XLPE, AS/NZS 4961, Available in conductor sizes up to 95mm²
LAPP has expanded its LAPP POWER NS Neutral Screen portfolio with the addition of larger XLPE-insulated conductor sizes, providing a robust direct-burial solution for power distribution applications across industrial, commercial, infrastructure, and residential projects.
The expanded range complements LAPP's established PVC Neutral Screen offering and now includes conductor sizes up to 95mm², giving contractors, consultants, and asset owners greater flexibility when specifying larger power distribution circuits.
Designed and certified to AS/NZS 4961, LAPP POWER NS combines proven performance with the quality, engineering, and manufacturing expertise that has made LAPP a trusted name in cable technology worldwide.
Suitable for direct burial installations, the cable features durable X-90 XLPE insulation and a robust 5V-90 PVC outer sheath with a nominal sheath thickness of 3.2mm. The construction is designed to withstand demanding installation environments while helping reduce installation costs by eliminating the need for additional ducting in many underground applications.
The integrated bare copper wire screen serves as a neutral conductor in AC applications or can be utilised as a protective screen, providing additional safety and system reliability. This makes the range ideal for applications including industrial power distribution, machinery power feeds, switchboard connections, street lighting circuits, and main power supplies for buildings and residential developments.
Built with Class 2 bare annealed copper conductors and neutral screens, LAPP POWER NS is rated to 600/1000V and supports operating temperatures up to 90°C. The UV-resistant outer sheath also makes the cable suitable for outdoor installations where long-term environmental durability is required.
Initial local stock includes single-core constructions in 10mm², 16mm², and 25mm², along with 4-core 25mm² variants, with many additional sizes available to support larger project requirements.
For projects requiring larger neutral screen power cables with direct-burial capability, the expanded LAPP POWER NS XLPE range delivers a dependable, standards-compliant solution backed by LAPP's global reputation for quality and performance.
